Cutback Blow: Attacks the enemy to absorb the Attack Bar by 15% with a 50% chance.

OLIVER BUILDS / STRATEGY

Oliver Build Tips
In the early game you can build him as a nuke with pure damage dealing runes.

As you progress into the late game you'll transition him to a bruiser build to get the most use out of him. Give him more tankiness, survivabilty, and turns to not only deal damage but keep the treat monsters at bay.

STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES

Strengths:
•Oliver in Summoners War is a ATK bar and skill cooldown machine! 
•He is a great damage dealer because he offers more than just damage for RTA. 
•Not only does he increases the enemies skill cooldown but also decreases yours. 
•His 3rd skill multiplier is very strong. 

Weakness:
•Oliver is a single target skill monsters. 
•Monsters that put up immunity like Fran, Lulu, or Chloe will make him less effective.

RANKING

GB12 (8/10): Attack bar reduction is great for Giants B12 to prevent the boss from wiping your team. 

DB12 (2/10): He has elemental disadvantage and isn't recommended for Dragons B12. 

 

NB12 (1/10): He doesn't have enough multi hits to break through the boss' shield.

SF10 (6/10): His ATK bar pushback is good to keep the boss from moving in Steel Fortress B10.

PC10 (0/10): ATK bar pushback does not work in Punisher Crypt B10.

ToA (2/10): He lacks CC to be useful here.

Rift of Worlds (3/10): He could be used in the Water Rift if you are low on wind damage dealers, however, none of his skills work on the bosses.

Labyrinth (3/10): He can be used in some niche stages, but you want monsters with more CC to farm Lab. 

Dimensional Hole (1/10): He is not recommended here.

Arena (6/10): Generally you want AoE Cleave teams to farm Arena, however, as you get to the higher rankings, he will be great to deal with some annoying defenses. 

Guild Wars (8/10): He is strong on offense against monsters like Theomars to prevent him from putting up endure along with any annoying water revival monsters. He can be used on defense as well but will require a good amount of speed paired with AoE CC units. 

 

RTA (8/10): Oliver is a strong damage dealing unit here that does more than just dish out big damage. His ATK bar pushback and skill increase/reduction makes him a very viable option to counter many comps.
